Written in the Stars Speaker Application

NOLA STARS is looking for exciting presenters for workshops for the 2009 Written in the Stars Conference.

Maybe you have a terrific workshop on writing scenes, or maybe you know the best way to get free publicity, or you might know a terrific way for appeasing a writer's muse. Then we are looking for you!

Come experience our warm Southern hospitality and mingle with some awesome editors, agents and published authors. What a fabulous opportunity to network while helping fellow writers realize their own potential.

What you need to know:

Workshops should be 45-50 minutes in length.

Multiple workshop proposal submissions by individuals are welcome.

As compensation to our speakers we offer the following:

* Waived Registration Fee

* Saturday meals

* $100 speaker stipend for the first workshop presentation and $50 for each additional workshop presentation given by the same speaker

A group booksigning will be held immediately following the conference on Saturday afternoon.

Deadline for receipt of submissions is August 15^th, 2008.
