NOLA STARs is filled with published and practiced authors who will generously pass on their knowledge to you. If you've ever wanted to write or you're just curious about how books are born, come to this free workshop and have your questions answered. Members will be on hand to give individual advice as well as to present mini-lectures covering all aspects of writing.
Topics covered during our workship include writing techniques like writing style, plot, characters, point of view, industry insider knowledge on agents, editors and publishing houses and writing must-haves like critique groups, professional writing organizations and common interest groups available to you locally.
