Biography
Winnie Griggs is a multi-published author who has had works published and/or contracted in both the Historical Romance and Inspirational Romance genres. Her writing has garnered enthusiastic reviews and numerous awards, among them the Colorado Gold Editor’s Choice Award for Romance.
Winnie is very active in her local RWA chapter and has served in nearly every board and committee position, including a three year stint as chapter president. In addition, Winnie has served on RWA’s Long Range Planning Committee, has served multiple times on PASIC’s Contest committee and Conference Planning committee and is an active member of a number of RWA local and special interest chapters as well as the Novelists, Inc. and the American Christian Fiction Writers organizations.
Since her publishing debut in 2001, Winnie has begun speaking regularly at writer’s conferences in local, regional and national venues, presenting workshops on a variety of craft and career-oriented topics.
