Joanna Wayne
Joanna Wayne began her writing career in 1994 with the publication of her first Harlequin Intrigue. Since that time she has written over 40 books for Harlequin, most in the romantic suspense genre. She has won several industry awards including the prestigious Texas Gold Award and has appeared on the Walden Romance Bestseller List many times. Joanna has built a reputation for being on the cutting edge of romantic suspense and has been praised in published reviews for her memorable characters, her pacing, and her dynamic blending of sensuality and suspense.
Joanna is a long-distance member of several RWA groups and is an active member of the local West Houston Group. She was formerly president of the South Louisiana RWA group. She is a popular speaker at RWA groups around the country as well as at local women’s groups and book clubs. She taught creative writing at the Metropolitan College of the University of New Orleans before moving to the Houston area where she currently resides.
Joanna is currently writing The Four Brothers of Colts Run Cross Series for Harlequin Intrigue. The series centers around a Texas ranching and oil family and has garnered impressive reviews and become a reader favorite. The fifth book in that series will be released in November, 2008.
